You can choose between:- Western-style bed

Important Notes about Futons:
Futons in Japan are not like Western-style sofa beds. They are thin mattresses placed directly on the floor and folded away daily.
We will do our best to accommodate all requests, but cannot guarantee availability. If you choose a futon and later decide you do not like it, changes will not be possible.
Departure Transfer
On departure day, there will be one group transfer to Kansai International Airport, leaving from the Kyoto accommodation at approximately 9:00 AM.
If this timing does not suit your flight schedule, we recommend booking a private transfer, similar to the options suggested for arrival.
Airport Transfer Details
We are unable to include arrival airport transfers in the tour package because guests fly into two different airports (Narita and Haneda) and arrive up to 24 hours apart. Coordinating this would require dedicated staff and significant resources, and our local partner quoted a cost of approximately $300 per person, which we feel is too high.
Instead, we recommend booking your own transfer through GetYourGuide, where prices start around $100 AUD. We will provide direct links for transfers from both Narita and Haneda airports.

Japan’s official currency is the Japanese Yen, symbolized as ¥ and abbreviated as JPY. It is one of the most traded currencies in the world and comes in both coins (1, 5, 10, 50, 100, and 500 yen) and banknotes (1,000, 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 yen). While credit cards are increasingly accepted in urban areas like Tokyo and Kyoto, cash is still widely used, especially in smaller towns, local restaurants, and traditional markets. ATMs are common, but not all accept foreign cards, so it’s advisable for travelers to carry some cash and check for international ATM compatibility, such as those found in post offices or convenience stores like 7-Eleven.
