After breakfast, meet your guide and fellow travellers for a briefing before setting off on an unforgettable road trip to one of Africaโs most iconic wildlife destinations: the Maasai Mara.
Settle into your vehicle for a scenic 5-6 hour drive through Kenyaโs picturesque landscapes. As you leave the bustling streets of Nairobi behind, the scenery transitions to rolling hills, vast savannas, and traditional Maasai villages.
Upon arrival, rest and prepare for the next day’s adventures at your accommodation

Rise before dawn for an early departure to the Mara River, where one of the worldโs most awe-inspiring natural events awaits. Youโll witness the breathtaking spectacle of the Great Migration. Thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, driven by instinct, make their perilous journey across the river, braving swift currents and lurking predators. The sights and sounds of this epic struggle for survival are nothing short of mesmerizingโa once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Pause for a scenic picnic lunch by the river, surrounded by the raw beauty of the Maasai Mara.
After lunch, continue exploring the riverbanks and surrounding plains. Marvel at the sheer diversity of wildlife. Your tour guide will share fascinating insights into the ecosystem and the behaviors of the animals, deepening your appreciation of this unique habitat.

Begin your day with a visit to a traditional Maasai village, one of Africaโs most iconic tribes. Upon arrival, youโll be greeted by the Maasai people, known for their colorful attire and warm hospitality.
Immerse yourself in Maasai traditions through participatory experiences. Take part in traditional dances, learn about Maasai customs, crafts, and their semi-nomadic lifestyle.
Lunch: Enjoy a traditional meal shared with the Maasai community
Spend more time exploring the village, observing daily routines, and gaining a deeper appreciation for the Maasaiโs resilience and resourcefulness. Take this opportunity to ask questions, capture memorable photos, and purchase handmade crafts that directly support the community.
Bid farewell to your gracious hosts and drive back to Nairobi for dinner and rest.

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your exploration of Nairobi with a visit to the Giraffe Centre to learn about and feed endangered Rothschild giraffes. They currently have 8 Giraffes in residence which you can view from a platform.ย The Giraffe Centre is run by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife (AFEW), a non-profit organization that protects the Rothschild’s giraffe, an endangered species.ย The center’s breeding program has released over 40 giraffes into national parks and game reserves.
Next, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a renowned elephant orphanage. Here, youโll witness young elephants being fed and playing in the mud, while learning about the Trustโs vital conservation work to protect these gentle giants.
Then stop off for some lunch at Boho Eatery before heading to to the Karen Blixen Museum which is located in the serene suburb of Nairobi, at the foot of the Ngong Hills. It was once the home of the Danish author Karen Blixen, also known by her pen name Isak Dinesen. Here are some highlights:
Historical Significance: The museum is set in the house where Karen Blixen lived from 1917 to 1931. Her life in Kenya inspired her famous memoir, “Out of Africa,” which was later adapted into an Oscar-winning film.
Architecture: The house was built in 1912 by Swedish engineer Ake Sjogren and later purchased by Karen and her husband, Baron Bror von Blixen-Finecke.
Exhibits: Visitors can explore rooms decorated in the original style, as well as props and memorabilia from the movie. The museum also features farm tools and furniture from the coffee plantation.

- Up to 180 Days Before Tour Start: A $500 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will be retained.
- From 180 โ 75 Days Before Tour Start: 25% of the tour cost, plus the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, will be forfeited.
- Fromย 75 โ 45 Days Before Tour Start: 50% of the tour cost, plus the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, will be forfeited.
- Less Than 45 Days Before Tour Start or No Shows: The entire amount 100% of the tour cost will be retained, as we would have already incurred costs for accommodation, transport, flights, and activities, which cannot be refunded to us.
- After Tour Commencement: No refunds will be issued.

However, we cannot assume responsibility for guests’ health and wellbeing regarding food in foreign countries, as sometimes there can be misunderstandings due to language barriers. Our tours are designed to provide a rich and immersive experience, which includes walking tours on some days. Participants will encounter uneven footpaths, stairs, and other elements that require good mobility. Therefore, we recommend that women joining our tours have a medium level of fitness. You should be able to walk up to 7km a day to fully enjoy all the activities and explore the beautiful destinations with ease.
This includes standing for extended periods in various climates, getting on and off transport without assistance, carrying your own luggage independently, and walking uphill and over uneven terrain.
