In the heart of Toledo stands the magnificent Cathedral of St. Mary, a gothic masterpiece that took over 250 years to complete and houses numerous works of art including a painting by El Greco. Other notable landmarks include the Alcรกzar of Toledo, a fortress located on the highest point of the city and the former palace of Carlos V and Felipe II, and the Jewish Quarter, a labyrinthine area that has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. With its historical richness and stunning architecture, Toledo is a must-see destination for those interested in art history and culture.
Granada is a vibrant and historic city located in the Andalusia region of southern Spain. It is best known for its breathtaking Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex that was constructed during the medieval period.
