We shall have a brief stopover at the Equator Line for a fun photo moment at the Northern and Southern Hemispheres divider. Sunrise is the best time for wildlife spotting as animals tend to be the most active during the โ€œgolden hoursโ€, when the first rays of sunshine come to rest on the savannah. Our Safari breakfast will be served before the day breaks as per the tradition so that we can start our morning game drive as the sun comes up. Elephants, buffalo and several species of antelope are some of the characters you may come across today, and on a lucky day, we may even spot a lion or leopard. We’ll make it back to our lodge for lunch after the morning game drive.

Later in the day when the sun is high in the sky and the animals make their way to the river for a drink, we will head to Kazinga Channel for an exciting boat safari. You will spot more hippos today wallowing in the water than you can possibly imagine. Herds of elephants and buffalo will also wander down to the shoreline to bathe in the cooling waters. Then we`ll return to our lodge and rest as we witness a breathtaking sunset.

A hearty dinner will close our day.

Their soulful eyes and playful interactions will create an unforgettable moment of connection with the wild.

After breakfast, we’ll be chauffeured to Kihihi Airstrip or Kisoro Airstrip depending on the most convenient flight schedules available. We’ll then take a flight to Entebbe international airport, a breathtaking one and half to two hours birds-eye view of the majestic pearl of Africa. Upon landing, interested guests will take a guided tour to Buikwe for a visit to Omuto Uganda/ Emmaus Schools-a reason behind the name โ€œHumanitarian Safari Tripโ€. Our trips are tagged so because 10% of our proceeds from your safari trip help transform an entire course of life of an unprivileged child in some rural area in Buikwe District, Uganda, at the Emmaus Schools, a humanitarian project under a non-profit organization called Omuto Uganda. During the tour you will interact with students through casual conversations, or participate in an activity such as teaching a short lesson, storytelling, or sharing a cultural experience from your own background. This is a great opportunity to make connections and learn more about the schoolโ€™s role in the community before embarking on our journey to explore the legendary Source of The Nile.

At the Source of the Nile, we’ll enjoy a captivating boat cruise, learn about the riverโ€™s rich history and importance while enjoying the tranquil beauty of the surroundings. You might spot local wildlife and enjoy pretty views of the Nileโ€™s beginnings.

Then we`ll rest at the accommodation and have our dinner there too.
