Many Australians are familiar with services such as Doctors on Demand, but what many travellers don’t realise is that access to online medical care doesn’t necessarily stop when you leave the country.

Whether you’re on a holiday, business trip, cruise, or long-term adventure abroad, there are international telehealth services that can connect you with qualified doctors from almost anywhere in the world. Healthcare Support From Your Hotel Room.

Getting sick overseas can be stressful enough without trying to navigate an unfamiliar healthcare system, deal with language barriers, or find a local clinic.

Global telehealth services allow travellers to:
Speak with a doctor via video or phone consultation
Receive medical advice for common illnesses and injuries
Access support in multiple languages
Obtain prescriptions where local laws permit
Receive guidance on whether in-person treatment is required
In many cases, you can consult a doctor from your hotel, apartment, cruise ship, or other accommodation.

Today’s flashback takes us to the heart of India t Today’s flashback takes us to the heart of India to moments that take your breath away, like watching the Taj Mahal glow at sunrise or gazing across the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola towards the majestic Lake Palace. πŸŒ…πŸ°

Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal stands as one of the world’s greatest symbols of love and devotion, and Lake Pichola mirrors that same serenity and grace found throughout India. πŸ’•

Our travellers experienced these unforgettable scenes during one of our past adventures, and we’ll be returning on our Best Exotic Marigold Tour, February 2026. ✨ https://youli.io/t/vibrantwomentravel/marigold-india-february-2027

πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·βœ¨ As we prepare for our upcoming trip to TΓΌrkiye πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡·βœ¨ As we prepare for our upcoming trip to TΓΌrkiye in September, I was looking through some old travel photos and found pictures of me from almost 30 years ago doing some of the very same things we'll be doing on our adventure!

It's amazing to think I'll soon be revisiting some of these places and creating a whole new set of memories with this wonderful group. I can't wait to experience this stunning country again and share it with all of you.

I thought I'd share a few of these blast-from-the-past photos with you! 😊

Now it's your turn... do you have any travel photos from 30 years ago (or thereabouts)? We'd love to see them! Whether it's backpacking, family holidays, camping trips, epic adventures, or just some fabulous 90s fashion, please share them with the group.

Let's see how much (or how little!) we've changed over the years! πŸ“ΈβœˆοΈβ€οΈ

Are you joining us in Japan or South Korea in Octo Are you joining us in Japan or South Korea in October? One of the most delightful ways to prepare is by diving into the world of cozy literatureβ€”gentle, heart-warming stories that celebrate everyday life, food, and culture. These books are not only comforting reads for the festive season but also a brilliant way to familiarise yourself with local customs, names, and flavours before you set foot in Tokyo or Seoul.

Why Cozy Lit Is Ideal for Travel Prep

Cozy literature is all about warmth and simplicity. It doesn’t rush; it lingers over small detailsβ€”like the aroma of freshly brewed coffee or the quiet hum of a city street. Here’s what makes it perfect for travellers:

Slice-of-life narratives: You’ll experience the rhythm of daily life in Japan and Korea.
Food and drink rituals: From steaming bowls of ramen to sweet bean pancakes, these stories will whet your appetite.
Community and relationships: They often explore friendships and family ties, giving you cultural context before you go.
