Due to the high demand, many accommodations are non-refundable and often require a 50% deposit upfront. This means we must pay deposits or full amounts to guarantee your stay—this cost is in excess of the deposit you pay to secure your trip.
Deposits for Transport and Guides
To ensure we have the right transportation and knowledgeable guides available, we also need to pay deposits for these services well in advance. Whether it’s a comfortable bus ride, a knowledgeable local guide, or a unique mode of transport, these elements are essential for a seamless tour experience.
Purchasing Tickets
We purchase tickets for planes, ferries, and trains up to 12 months ahead of your trip. This early planning helps us secure the best schedules and seats, ensuring that we don’t miss out on crucial connections. By booking early, we can offer you the most convenient and enjoyable travel arrangements.
The Importance of Understanding Our Cancellation Policy
Due to the non-refundable nature of many of our bookings, it’s important for our guests to understand our cancellation policy. If you need to cancel your trip, please be aware that we often cannot recover costs in excess of your deposit paid, even more than 12 months before the start of the tour date. We book your room immediately when you book with us, and we purchase tickets immediately to secure your flights, etc. This money is non-refundable, especially for flights.
