What is a Fully Escorted Tour and how does it make a difference

As a bespoke small group tour company, we strive to provide our guests with the best possible experience, and one of the ways we do this is by ensuring all of our tours are 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝.

An escorted tour means that a key person (not just any person), one of our Fabulous Hosts! from Vibrant Women Travel goes with the group on the entire tour to assist the guide and guests, so that you are free to enjoy your tour.

If you attend a tour that is Hosted by a Vibrant Women Travel Host, you will instantly notice the difference that extra support and reassurance can provide. They are waiting for you with a welcoming smile after a long-haul flight when you are tired and in a strange land. 

Our Vibrant Women Travel Hosts are so multi-talented I don’t know where to start ……  Firstly, they love travel, really the only criteria, so they often have a connection to the location you are visiting.  For example, they have lived in the location or have a particular interest in the area or activities included on the tour.  But they are not tour guides, so they don’t need to provide information about local sights etc. that’s the guides’ job.  These girls are the ones that give you a hug when you are homesick, or just sick.  They find the right tummy or cold and flu tablets for you.  They know the importance of shopping and taking time for photos, so will slow the guide down If necessary.  They will assist with room changes if necessary.  They help you sort out the WIFI (not all of them can do this, just being honest).  In fact at times you may need to help us. MOST IMPORTANTLY – They will find wine and coffee. 

In addition to having a Vibrant Women Travel Host, we also ensure a local professional Tour Guide is with you throughout your trip as well. Our tour guides are knowledgeable and experienced in the destinations you will be visiting, and they will be able to provide you with information and insights that you may not be able to get on your own.  They speak the language, know the best places to eat and see and arrange all the logistics so you can relax.

Our guides are well trained and often hold degrees in Tourism. For example, our Egypt Host is a qualified Egyptologist, and our Moroccan guide is a lecturer in Tourism.  If you have attended a group tour before, you will know that all tour guides are not equal.  We build strong connections with our guides to ensure they understand our expectations and can work well with small group travel for women.  It is part of our mandate to work with predominantly female owned and operated businesses where possible and also local communities.
