If youโ€™re heading off on a trip with a partner, friend, or family member, crosspacking is a smart and simple strategy that can save you a lot of hassle. It means packing some of your clothes and essentials into each otherโ€™s bags rather than keeping everything in your own suitcase.

Because if one bag gets lost or delayed, both of you will still have access to clothing and necessities ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have you tried crosspacking before? Or do you have a clever packing strategy of your own? Let us know in the comments!

In Uganda, tradition and taste go hand in hand. ๐ŸŒฟ In Uganda, tradition and taste go hand in hand. ๐ŸŒฟ
Meat wrapped in fresh banana leaves is slow-cooked to perfection.
Tender, aromatic, and full of earthy flavour. โœจ

This beautiful cooking method, known locally as Luwombo, is used to prepare dishes like chicken, beef, fish, or even groundnut stew. Each parcel is carefully tied, steamed, and served with matoke creating a meal that feels as nourishing as it is flavourful. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

The banana leaves do more than cook they seal in moisture, infuse the food with a subtle sweetness, and honour a tradition passed down for generations.

A humble reminder that the simplest methods often hold the most soul.
